Meet Dr. Souffront

Having practiced dentistry since 1992, Dr. Souffront continues to enjoy helping those who would like to have a beautiful smile and help them feel good about themselves.

It is also her goal to develop a trusting relationship with her patients in order for her to help them achieve and maintain a healthy mouth.

Dr. Souffront's private practice offers an atmosphere that provides a comfortable and caring environment while utilizing the most current dental technology.

The field of dentistry continues to evolve, and she firmly believes in continuing education in order for her to provide her patients the best treatment she can possibly offer to them.

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, she came to the US in 1988 to study dentistry and found it a very rewarding and fulfilling profession. In her spare time, she enjoys fishing the flats of Sarasota Bay and the Gulf of Mexico and enjoying the company of her loving pups, Luca and Arlo.

Dental Assistant

Donna

Donna, originally from Illinois, has embraced Bradenton as her home since 2010. With 28 years of experience as a Dental Assistant, including 7 dedicated years with Dr. Souffront, she brings both expertise and warmth to our practice. Donna is certified in both Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) and in Dental Radiography from the Dental Assisting Institute in St. Petersburg, FL. She takes great pride in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring that each patient feels comfortable and well-cared for throughout their visit.

Office Coordinator

Brittney

Brittney, originally from upstate New York, brings 8 years of dental experience to our team. Brittney has become an essential part of our office as she plays a crucial role in managing our schedule, coordinating communication with other dental offices, and ensuring that patients feel welcomed and cared for. Outside of work, Brittney enjoys beach outings, boating, and spending time with her two cats and her 19-year-old dog. Her positive energy and efficiency shine through in everything she does, making her a fantastic member of our team.

Michele

Michele is a seasoned Dental Assistant with over 20 years of experience in cosmetic and general dentistry. She brings a wealth of knowledge and a caring approach to our practice, excelling in both patient care and dental tech tasks. Michele is particularly skilled ensuring that our patients receive high-quality care at every step. She is committed to helping patients fully understand their treatments and make them feel comfortable throughout their visits, by creating a reassuring environment. Michele enjoys cooking and traveling, adding a dash of fun to her life outside of work.

Victoria

Victoria has been practicing Dental Hygiene since 2003. Since joining Dr. Souffront’s practice full time in 2019, she has combined her expertise with a warm, personal touch, enhancing the patient experience. Known for her efficiency and proficiency, Victoria is also certified in local anesthesia, ensuring that patients receive the most comfortable and effective care possible. She enjoys taking continuing education courses to keep informed with the latest in dentistry. Outside of her professional role, Victoria cherishes time with her husband, two kids, and dog. She loves to volunteer her time at her children’s school, soccer club and community.

Mandy

Mandy brings 30 years of expertise in general and periodontal dentistry to our practice. Her professional journey in dentistry spans Iowa, Illinois and Texas. After living in Texas for nine years, Mandy relocated to Florida in 2023, having spent most of her life in Iowa. Since joining Dr. Souffront's team, she has been dedicated to providing high-quality care through preventive measures and patient education. Mandy plays a crucial role in maintaining patients’ oral health, aiming to preserve their teeth while fostering strong, supportive relationships. In her free time, she enjoys pickleball, golf, and exercise, and is always eager to learn new skills to further her personal and professional growth.

Veronica is deeply committed to building strong, personal relationships with her patients, always treating them with the utmost care and respect. Outside of the office, she values quality time with her family and enjoys her interest in music and various craft projects.

Digital Photograpy and Radiography

We prioritize the safety and well-being of our patients. We use the Dexis Digital Radiography system, which delivers high-quality dental images while minimizing radiation exposure. With this advanced technology, you can trust that your dental needs are being met with the highest accuracy and precision.

Periodontal Screening and Treatment

Dr. Souffront provides comprehensive dental care that includes a thorough examination of your teeth, gums, and supporting bone. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, periodontal diseases are infections that affect the gums and bone surrounding and supporting the teeth.

Oral Cancer Screening

During your comprehensive dental exam, Dr. Souffront will conduct a thorough examination of the tissues in your mouth to check for any lumps or irregular changes. She will also take note of any sores that have not improved. If necessary, Dr. Souffront will determine if a biopsy is needed and refer you to a specialist.

Having dental treatment is a personal investment that can last a lifetime.

Please understand that dental insurance is a contract between the patient and the insurance carrier and not between the carrier and the dentist. However, we will be happy to process your insurance claims as a courtesy.

The amount of coverage is determined by your insurance company may be based on that company’s own fee schedule for treatment.

Dr. Souffront offers a variety of payment financing options including Care Credit and cash discount options.

We also accept American Express, MasterCard, Discover, VISA, Bank Debit Cards, cash and personal checks.
